Happy Halloween: A Tim Burton Classic

I watched this short several years ago created by Tim Burton about his fascination with Vincent Price. Immediately, I loved it.

Synopsis: Young Vincent Malloy dreams of being just like Vincent Price and loses himself in macabre daydreams which annoys his mother.

Narrator: Vincent Malloy is seven years old, / He’s always polite and does what he’s told. / For a boy his age he’s considerate and nice, / But he wants to be just like Vincent Price. / He doesn’t mind living with his sister, dog and cat, / Though he’d rather share a home with spiders and bats…

When Vincent Price was asked what he thought of the short, he said that it was “the most gratifying thing that ever happened. It was immortality – better than a star on Hollywood Boulevard.”

I found it recently and shared it with Andrew; he confessed it quite cute. I thought I’d share it with you.
